Feinstein calls for earthquake 'Early-Warning System'

U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) this week called on the state and federal governments to partner with the private sector to build an integrated earthquake early-warning system to save lives and property.

I agree with Dianne Feinstein. I hope that funds can be made available to get this started.

What we really need is AFFORDABLE earthquake insurance. The cost is outrageous currently and prevents many people in the region from obtainin coverage.

It is outrageous - we have Farmer's, but with most any company it can more than double your bill. It did more than double the tab on a four-plex we had way back south of here.
