Pesticide bill heads to governor

A bill requiring the safer use of pesticides in schools will be making its way to Gov. Jerry Brown.

Let's hope for a safer environment for our children. More than 90% of pesticides and their "inert" ingredients are never tested for their effects on developing nervous systems. I am grateful to Senator DeSaulnier's efforts on this bill.
