Neil Armstrong Elementary named National Blue Ribbon School

San Ramon's Neil Armstrong Elementary School has been selected for a prestigious National Blue Ribbon Schools Program award, an honor given based on student and teacher achievement.

Yay! I love this school. Such an amazing group of vibrant teachers and parent helpers who make up a warm and friendly community. It's the positive atmosphere and celebrations that make this an inviting environment that is conducive to learning. So proud of this school!

NA is a good school with a good school community. Thank you for the high quality.

Is the award based on data as simple and straight forward as test scores and graduation rates? Or did the Principal or other staff members have to jump through hoops preparing statements, etc.?
