Eric, you would better serve the public by calling out the Counties that support harboring of ILLEGAL ALIENS: SF, Alameda, Contra Costa to name a few, start there.

Stop sanctuary cities. The law enforcement agencies hands are tied and they cannot report to immigration authorities when the law does not allow them too! The liberal laws that are in place in these cities that harbor and protect illegals and criminals amongst them put law abiding citizens at great risk. If we don't want to enforce the laws, why do we have them? Let's just open the borders like they have in Europe! We will continue to suffer the consequences like Europe unless we elect leaders who want to protect the American people.

I would take this a bit more seriously, except for the fact that Swalwell voted against the "Kate Steinle's Law" legislation/bill, when it came up for a vote in the House, this past summer. (If you all recall, that bill passed in the House, but was then blocked by Senate Dems.) The bill would have denied federal funding for sanctuary cities and counties. (Mark DeSaulnier also voted No on the bill, for those who are in his district.)

Actually, before the vote, I had thought that the Dem leaders in the House might give Swalwell permission to vote yes on the bill, just because the Steinle's live in Pleasanton. But apparently not, as he lined up like a good party-guy and voted No, basically casting a vote FOR the perpetuation of sanctuary cities.

In contrast to bz, above, I see no reason to thank Swalwell for anything, especially since we have no idea what he means by "immigration enforcement reform". Apparently he is just fine with sanctuary cities and counties, based on his vote a few months ago.

True to form, Eric voted against the American Safe Act yesterday along with Pelosi. Just saying...
