Danville singer reaches top 24 of 'American Idol'

A Danville vocalist is continuing his run on Fox's "American Idol" this week, hoping to advance beyond the top 24 in the final season of the singing competition show.

Great Article, really enjoyed reading about a hometown "Idol" contestant!

Katherine Ramirez, SRVHS class of '98 came in 51st place of American Idol Season 7. Mr. Abrams and the talented SRVHS choir produce a lot of successful singers!

Glad he can sing....Statements like: "..."Me and Carlos would jam with his band when I was younger..." indicates that his teachers didn't do a very good job teaching him grammar.
