Monte Vista junior wins Congressional App Challenge

Trisha Sanghal, a junior at Danville's Monte Vista High School, took the top spot in the 11th District's Congressional App Challenge for her app "Music Makerz," U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) announced last week.

This is a great achievement, Ms. Sanghal. Perhaps you'll go on to compete at TechCrunch Disrupt and win some venture capital backing! Congratulations. And kudos to Monte Vista!
