Trump said today that he didn't think the people cared about his tax returns, just the press. He said he would not release his returns.

I'm not the press and I want to see those returns. It is only right that we know where our leader stands in the world of business.

Yes, especially when the public cannot trust Trump to tell the truth. So sad!

The law does not require him to release his tax returns. If you are pro Trump you dont care. if you are anti Trump most anything will cause you to go after him.

Taxes are private and no one's business. Regardless of one's political persuasion, releasing one's taxes are not necessary.

Not if you are going to have an office as important as the presidency. And especially for Trump, whose potential conflicts of interest are myriad.

Quit trying to delegitimize Trump. Let him do the job without all your negative mean spirited interference. Who cares about his tax returns!

More 'Alternative' facts from the administration; Actual fact is that 74% of Americans, including a majority of Republicans, want him to release those tax returns. Even if the margin of error was 10% (a lot less than those 'discredited' pre-election polls), which it's not -- that would still be fully 64% of everybody. And a lot more than Nobody. Only 18% agree that he should not -- apparently most of them inhabit this Town Square.

Anyone who would dismiss this as partisanship are willfully blind to the fact that the Prez is not just some private citizen -- when you are doing The Public's business, The Public has an urgent and proper right to know whether you have ulterior motives.

Or are we calling those 'Alernative' motivations now?

I still wouldlike to see more of the investigation into Hillary Clinton and the tens of millions of dollars she took from foreign governments while working as our secretary of state.
I also still find it strange that Obama refused for so long to provide his birth certificate... all the demands

Greg -- If, indeed you feel that way about former public servants, then you really have to want to see Trump's returns. The Obama point is ridiculous, of course -- just a bald and sorry excuse to try to de-legitimize him.

You may want to "cure" HRC with your leftover bile (I doubt there's much there, but go ahead), but you can "prevent" present and future conflicts by pressing the Prez. Ounces beat pounds.
