We are so saddened about the drowning of the Freshman at SRV. And how tragic it is for his parents. We will be praying for them and the students at SRV; losing a fellow student; that they cared about.

My question didn't post, so am trying again. I was curious to know if there was a life guard on duty, since it is a school and it sounds like it was during school hours. If no life guard, why...?

In response,
During the Freshman PE swim unit, the teacher (often/always lifeguard and always CPR certified) of the class is the only one with the students at the pool. This incident went down in between periods when a teacher wasn't present. He was discovered when one of the fifth period PE teachers began to instruct his/her 5* class.

Hold your opinions of the time line of the event they are not based on facts.

TC, I'm sure your intentions were good, but from what I have seen, no one has recently given an opinion...merely asked questions. Are you uncomfortable with the questions? We certainly mean well ourselves.
