Former East Bay Parks union treasurer guilty of embezzlement

A former treasurer of a union representing East Bay Regional Parks workers has pleaded guilty in federal court in Oakland to embezzling $490,338 from the organization.

Sooooo...who was minding the books here???? Looks like others should be held accountable for lack of oversight.

Where there's opportunity, bad judgments can occur.

She was the payroll supervisor for EBRPD for Over a decade. Should the investigators go there next?
