BART ridership is declining while the population and commuter times increase. Wonder why that is?
Thoughts anyone?

This is crazy. Where to start when it comes to mismanagement at BART. First, most of the panhandlers would not be on the trains if the station agents and BART police controlled the pay gates better. Secondly, I am not paying good money to ride a filthy dirty system which is unsafe, and I'm certainly not paying to sit and have people approach me for money, drugs, etc. There can be no justification for allowing the current situation to continue. It is laughable that one of the board members believes good musicians and bands can be formed by allowing that on BART.

I do not allow my family to ride BART other than commute hours when there are enough people on the trains to hopefully help protect them. I have personally had numerous bad experiences on BART where I felt endangered. I know many others who feel the same way. Uber, Taxis, and limo services are more expensive, but much safer.

I have traveled all over the world and I can honestly say that BART is one of the worst systems all things considered. Systems in Japan, Singapore, Shanghai, Moscow, Delhi, Bangkok, etc. are all much better than BART.
