Visitors to East Bay parks asked to wear face masks

The East Bay Regional Park District on Friday asked parks visitors to wear face masks or other face coverings in accordance with the Bay Area's recent COVID-19 face covering order in Alameda, Contra Costa and other counties.

So, does this include the Iron Horse Trail?

Yes, Malcolm Hex; it is our understanding that the guidelines apply to the Iron Horse Regional Trail -- and across the board at all EBRPD parks and trails.

I walked the Iron Horse Trail this morning (Monday) and there really were VERY FEW walkers/cyclists in masks.

How do people know it's mandatory if there are no signs up? I felt very uncomfortable having so many non-masked people coming at me all from both directions.
