That parking lot is a nightmare as it is.. they would need to either reconfigure the parking spots (no more one direction lanes) or this is a no-go.

24 hour fitness is claiming bankruptcy, so is another fitness center really needed? And I agree with the parking situation. Have you ever tried to find a parking spot at 24 hour? It's always jammed packed.

It is already hard enough to park there with the empty building, I don't think a gym of that size will help the situation. They would need to find a way to add additional parking,

Just what we need is another giant fitness studio that nobody will attend. Instead of letting anybody move in there simply for the tax revenue, why not pick something that’s going to be a big benefit to the greater part of the community? As opposed to a business that’s going to file bankruptcy or otherwise be unable to bring in the revenue to sustain a tax basis for any length of time because that’s what we’ve seen time and time again in San Ramon with these fitness facilities.

I agree that we do not need another fitness center in San Ramon. Even if 24 hr fitness is filing for bankruptcy are they actually leaving or just restructuring? I would opt for the Affilited home goods store that sells more furnishings and is owned by Home Goods. People love that store once they went in.
