I expect we are going to see compliance with this latest authoritarian decree to be less than the last one. We have a relative in the ICU with covid. We are personally affected by this disease. Yet every day we fear it less and less.
These lockdowns need to end. Life has a purpose and it includes taking risks while we pursue our individual forms of happiness.

After tomorrow, we are ordered not to get together outside, even distanced, with anyone not living in our homes. To quote Lisa Hernandez, Berkeley public health director, “If you have a social bubble, it is now popped.” The statement is cruel. If you want to ensure that people sneak around, you couldn’t do a better job.
