On the surface, I think opening the list of people eligible to get vaccinated is wonderful. But in reality, I think it’s only going to make it harder for those already eligible but unable so far to get one. I know plenty of people over 65 , who not for lack of trying are still trying to get their first shot. Adding more people to the queue appears counterproductive to the goal. My medical provider, Kaiser, is still trying to vaccinate their own staff and members over 75 at this time according to their latest emails.
