Officer approaches disturbing subject walking into traffic after being reported throwing rocks at cars on freeway (which can kill people folks). Then the Officer approaches with hands up attempting to engage subject, and then possible touch him, but subject challenges the officer and pulls out knife repeating, "Don't fucking touch me. Touch me and you'll see what's up. Touch me and you'll see what's up." (clear verbal threats with a deadly weapon) Cop repeats "drop the knife" as he pulls firearm out and repeats command. Subject says "kill me" as he backs up. Officer answers "no" but repeats "drop the knife"... In an instant, the physically armed subject takes two small steps toward officer causing deadly threat, resulting in officer immediately shooting subject in the head area immediately stopping threat. The subject appeared closer to the officer than is safe for a sharp edged weapon.

Nothing here shows any racial evidence at all. Period. Just a non-compliant man who was identified as having just committed criminal behavior, showing further evidence of a danger to the public, then an immediate danger to the officer. It is tragic the mental health system and others who were his personal support network let this subject down on that day. Once again, the cops are to blame somehow and a cop's decision he had to make in milliseconds is Monday-morning quarterbacked by people who have absolutely no idea what it is like to face violence.

The family of the subject who were not around on that day for their loved one will get 'representation' knocking on their door, and a pay day from the tax payers will be given. A political movement will get more false narrative fodder. Yet reforming the mental health system will get a pass, again. Violent crime will continue to rise.

The subject caused this incident, yet the sheep continue to look past this fact again, and again, and again, with more media-driven politics continuing a 'news' story.

At 2BConsidered,

Nice, right to the point. Also, now that the video has been released, you don’t see Local Man or Paul Clark commenting on this incident.

A good dose of truth a day tends to keep the mindless away.
