Parent and Voter is a registered user.
This is an important position in overseeing voting but in looking at the candidates I am disappointed in the lack of real choice. Three of the four are basically saying the same thing.
All except one has political endorsements, when this is a position that should politically neutral. And their political endorsements do not represent my views about elections. One of the candidates, Connelly, mentioned Dianne Feinstein as someone who inspired her.
Perhaps a runoff would give voters more opportunities to learn about the remaining candidates in the followup election.
