I did the math and if I worked in Dublin Unified next year, I would make ~$20,000 more than my same position in San Ramon Valley Unified. Yes, SRVUSD pays 100% of health insurance and Dublin pays 80%. But, as a healthy, single individual, my portion of healthcare in DUSD would be no more than a few thousand dollars a year. Mathematically, DUSD comes out on top.

SRVUSD Teacher - Given that your main criteria for the workplace is salary, you should 100% leave. See you later! It will make room for the people that want to be work as a part of SRVUSD for reasons other than a few extra bucks. There is more to life and work than getting the biggest paycheck.

SRVUSD Teacher - It is a fact that DUSD has a graduation that is anywhere from 7%-10% lower than SRVUSD. DUSD similarly has lower cumulative reading and math scores than SRVUSD and more (documented) behavior issues. I applaud teachers like you that are eager to move to these more challenging environments and wish you the best of luck with your move and your more money.
