RE: Congressional District 14
Not surprised that the Danville / San Ramon Editorial Board (DSAEB) endorses Eric Swalwell over Alison Hayden. Instead, Danville / San Ramon Editorial Board would rather support a known liar, as in Eric Swalwell.
During the Mueller probe, Swalwell repeatedly claimed, without a shred of evidence, that Trump not only colluded with Russia, but also that he was an “agent” of Russian intelligence. Turned out not to be true. And Swalwell continued to claim that he had evidence proving Trump was a Russian agent.
In an interview on MSNBC, Chris Matthews asked Swalwell whether Trump was a Russian agent “like in the 1940s where you had people who were ‘reds’?” Swalwell answered, “He’s working on behalf of the Russians, yes.” It turned out that was a lie.
But what comes around, goes around…
It turned out that it was Swalwell who had in FACT a close relationship with Chinese spy, Christine Fang.
What it boils down to is this: the Danville / San Ramon Editorial Board would rather support a known liar, who had close relations with a Chinese spy.

Might want to update your 'facts' a bit. Or watch less Fox News.

Thank you agreeing with me. But you left out one other FACT, your guy lied, and you won’t admit it.
Kinda funny how your guy has kept a low profile, isn’t it?

I suspect that the Chinese government has lots of videos of Swalwell in bed with that spy. He can be blackmailed by China.

S. Hale wanted facts. Welp, here they are:
Christine Fang was able to gain proximity to political power, according to current and former U.S. intelligence officials and one former elected official.
Christine Fang took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative and a current U.S. intelligence official. Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities.
Private but unclassified information about government officials — such as their habits, preferences, schedules, social networks, and even rumors about them — is a form of political intelligence.
Fang left the country unexpectedly in mid-2015 amid the investigation.
"She was just one of lots of agents," said a current senior U.S. intelligence official.
Bottom line: U.S. intelligence officials believed Fang was overseeing likely unwitting subagents whom she helped place in local political and congressional offices.
By the way, S. Hale, through campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships with at least two Midwestern mayors, Fang was able to gain proximity to political power
Facts are facts.

Why is Eric Swalwell frequently being interviewed on MNBC as an.intrepid anti-Republican and a staunch defender of American democracy?

Because Mr. Swalwell is a Democratic congressperson concerned (aka worried) about his party losing the majority in Congress.
MNBC is a pro-Democrat news network.
