Once again it is a rent increase that has caused a Blackhawk Plaza tenant to either close, or move out. The question remains: Are the So-Cal owners of the property trying to drive out tenants in preparation for some “re-purposing” of the property for some other use? Or is it merely a case of misjudging tenants’ “willingness to pay” for rent increases?

What a shame. We don't go to the movies as often as we used to, but this was our "go to" place. I hope the employees find new jobs.
