The headline is “4 fatal crashes in 30-hour span in Tri-Valley”, but the details of the other crashes are not mentioned, except for the other article about the Camino Tassajara crash on Friday night.

We need an article about the increase of drivers not following laws, ie. speeding, running through stop signs and red lights, not signaling and going in and out of lanes dangerously, etc. and WHAT is being done about this? (Nothing right now from what I see.)

I’m still recovering from being rear-ended on Camino Tassajara in Danville near Blackhawk with 4 vehicles total. (Cervical spine surgery and chronic whiplash pain.) The driver that caused the crash was UNLICENSED, barely insured, and did not slow down or brake, going 45 mph, and crashed into 3 cars waiting at a stoplight. I was at the front. The only repercussion for him was a ticket. I don’t know how the totaled first vehicle he crashed into had surviving passengers, but they are fortunately ok. It’s gotten out of control.

I hope Mitchell Katz rests in peace. Condolences to his family and friends.
