$5.6 million dollars for Danville. And towns and cities all over California are facing the same problem.
Sadly, it is needed to protect both businesses and individuals.
It does not take a genius to know why this problem is escalating. We need new leadership in California that takes crime seriously. We need to replace District Attorneys and politicians that are not doing their jobs. Just my opinion.

Leadership is the key, and it starts at the top. Democrats voted for the most incompetent stooge this country has ever known. Old man Biddy can hardly complete two sentences before mumbling off into the unknown. Never, in the history United States, has there been a more incompetent president. And the Democrats know it.

In California, people are more concerned about flying the gay pride flag than they are about supporting members of enforcement. And by the way, BRAVO to the Sunol School Board for banning the gay pride flag. If you can’t fly the Christine flag, Islamic flag, or Star of David at school, then the gay pride flag is out too. It’s that simple. Now, onto the so-govenor of this state.

The Democrat governor of this state, the one that told you folks to mask up, while he wined and dined in the wine country without wearing one? Yeah, that clown. The one who replaces the original court-ordered sentence of convicted murderers to time served so they can get out on early release (commutation). And then there are the Democrat district attorneys- namely Price from Oakland and Gascon from Los Angeles.

Gascon ordered prosecutors to stop seeking extra-long sentences for people accused of using a gun or being a gang member while committing a crime. He said he would no longer seek the death penalty, and prohibited prosecutors from seeking life sentences without the possibility of parole.

Price instructed her staff to no longer charge firearm or gang enhancements except in exceptional circumstances, and not without her approval, as well as to never charge a “life without parole” or LWOP under any circumstances.

Happy with all that, Democrats?

Just kidding! Hope you enjoyed the joke. Seriously, the loons are all in the your Democrat party - AOC, Omar, Tlaib, Fetterman, Schiff, Swalwell, etc. Liars, anti-semites, and Fetterman’s hoodie, oh my! No class.

Tell me, S. Hale, when Trump was president, he disclosed his cognitive tests - which were very good. Biden took the same tests, but won’t release them. Why? Because he is in cognitive decline and getting worse. Is that why you Democrats are oddly quiet these days?

Sometimes I wonder if all of this progressive advocacy including excessive wokeness and reduced sentencing for crimes under the guise of humanitarian gesture is the primary reason for most of the divisiveness we are currently experiencing as a nation and community.

Equality for all is one of the benchmarks of democracy but over-entitlement for specific groups of people is not.

And snap, just like that! SRPD will get funding from Sacramento to battle retail theft. That’s funny, I thought all you Democrats were about defunding the police. Looks like all that crime out there is beginning to erode that fake sense of security you Democrats seem to share.

To further my point, check out this beauty. The video shows all of these crazy Democrats with their defund the police rhetoric.

Really, are you only watching right wing loonville news at Fox etc?

tell me you realize the GOP has an equal amount of right whacko, out of touch, total loons.

It would be embarrassing for you to list 'em. but, I get it if Fox is your only cup of tea. Took them a while to run the 'groping' and 'vaping' issue. Ooops?

Always protect your flank, dude. ;)

@S.Hale

You can't defend your party or your flank, buddy. Instead, your party supports anti- semites - think Omar and Tlaib. Defend that, dude. Republicans support Israel.

And by the way, who is the party of the anti-cop? Hmm? Democrats. And before you hit back with the insurrectionists, just know they did not kill one person or attempted to burn down the Capital. Now, that's not excusing what they did, but it's a far cry from people burning down American cities. Defend that.

Your party supports BLM and Antifa. Let's see... Antifa and BLM burned down buildings and killed people. In fact, Democrat mayors and governors did nothing as our cities burned - as evidenced in Portland, Seattle, Philadelphia, etc. Defend that, dude.

Democrats feel that it's okay to fly gay pride flags at schools. But we can't fly Christian flags, The Star of David, or the Islamic flag (Tawheed) at school. Why not? Oh, because we have a separation of church and state?

Yet the gay pride flag represents a group of people, just like religious flags do. So, what's the difference? There is none. In fact, many people feel the gay pride represents an ideology. So, again, what's the difference?

2024 can't get here fast enough. Oh, and FOX ain't the only news source that thinks your clown in the White House is a stooge. AP, CNN, and MSNBC have plenty of negative things to say about your president.

Dude.

To Malcolm and Scott,

The truth of the matter is the American Citizens are being ill-served by both political parties. It's just that the Democrats are more effective in their destruction of our country. You end up wondering what it will take for the voters to finally figure it out!
We were "out" in downtown Danville last evening. There were people everywhere! There were live music venues in multiple locations. People were enjoying themselves.
Contrast that with the series of short videos that have come out recently, where the same guy walks down Market St, and through Embarcadero Center in SF; and down Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley, chronicling the almost complete vacancy of first-floor retail businesses. And at the same time, taking note of the "homelessness" and it's coupled open drug use ( and using the street for a toilet). Press accounts say that 30% of San Francisco's office space is vacant and buildings are being either sold at substantial discounts or their owners are defaulting on their loans. The owners of Westfield Mall in SF just defaulted on their existing mortgage to the tune of $585 million!.
So what's going to be the end game? Taken in the direction it's going (actually all over the country to one degree or another) what will the banks do? Will they petition the government to take their depositors money (that would be us) to bail themselves out?
Beyond the financial destruction we are witnessing, when will the "blight in Oakland" make it's way to the San Ramon Valley? When there are no more retail stores to loot there, will the looters come our way? The cops are going to need more than Newsom's money to handle what's coming! We've already had an "Oakland Resident" shoot and kill a Home Depot employee in Pleasanton for trying to stop her from stealing a power tool. You get what you vote for! Voting for the same Kakistocracy and expecting a different outcome shows you just how stupid (or self- absorbed) the American Voter is today.

My party, dude? Thought we covered this: decline to state is not a party, please catch up.

Now, back to my question to you. Please explain the GOP loons and how they are different from the left extreme loons. I'll wait. But, really, you can't just depend on Fox Clown News to answer, k?

If you can't moderate, then by all means use discretion and don't reply. /s

@S.Hale

Your buddy, Steve Cushing, can’t come to your defense like he has in the past. Meanwhile, you can’t defend your party and it’s breed of idiots. Which tells me what side of the fence you’re on. You know, walk like a duck…? But wait! There’s more. A lot more!

S. Hale stated the following in his last post: “My party, dude? Thought we covered this: decline to state is not a party, please catch up.”

See, S.Hale declines to state what party he backs. However, I found a piece of his past which tells everyone what side of the fence he likes to hide behind. Democrats attempt to use this trick to deflect blame. Well, S. Hale, your past has caught up to, politically speaking, of course. Here tis:

Things will work out OK once the older generation is no longer in charge of things.

Democrats and Republicans are just political parties, no different than the Socialists and Communists.

Um, maybe you should pick up a history book and learn the differences between socialism, communism, and democracy. There is quite a difference, which apparently eluded you a some point in your education.

@Malcom Hex...I am not endorsing Mr. Gannon's perspectives BUT according to history, following World War II General Douglas MacArthur was assigned the task of reconstructing post-war Japan while General George Patton was assigned the same role in post-war Germany.

General Patton was eventually called into Congress to explain why so many former Nazi Party members were being assigned key positions on reconstruction steering committees to which he replied, "The Nazi Party is just another political party, no different than the Republicans or Democrats" and he was immediately relieved of his duties by an outraged Congress.

Of note...the first Chancellor of West Germany was Konrad Adenauer, a former Nazi Party member.

So, according to what you said, you also believe the Nazi party was just another political party? Meaning that it was no different than the Republican of Democrats. Wow. I don’t recall the Republicans or Democrats discussing the extermination of approximately 6 million Jewish people - EVER.

I suggest you do one of two things to educate yourself: visit the Holocaust Museum in Los Angeles, or the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC.

I’m quite sure you will find a difference.

You forgot to mention the new Nazis known as Hamas. They the the same as Republicans and Democrats?

Your new Nazis in Gaza are doing the same thing their counterparts in Germany did. I suggest you look at footage of what Hamas is doing.

Coward.
