Valley Humane Society raises $175,000, will stay open

The Valley Humane Society has received $175,000 in donations since announcing last week that it might have to shut down operations and lay off staff without an immediate infusion of $125,000 by month's end, its executive director said yesterday.

I donated to the Valley Humane Society on 7/28 after their plea for help. I have yet to even get a THANK YOU note or e-mail from any person associated with their organization ackowledging my support.

Doug you need to calm down there buddy.. Its been 5 days if they raised $175,000 thats alot of people to thank..
