Pedestrian safety project improves road near Alamo Elementary

While the crosswalk lights are currently being tested, a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by District 2 Supervisor Candace Andersen held a ribbon cutting ceremony for an improved crosswalk near Alamo School on Aug. 26. New flashing lights are aimed at improving pedestrian safety on the busy road.

Why can't the cross walk lights just be installed without making a political issue out of it. You politician's a breed of people from a self serving mold.

Oh yes Supervisor Anderson had a great comment. I don't quite understand what on earth she was trying to say but it came out this way...I understand and agree with her sentence prior to this one...but this next quote make no sense. ("It both relieves traffic congestion and it is great exercise for students") It's make no sense...except it sounds like a Mother's Day and Apple Pie Politician's statement.

It's too bad but the folks we vote into office to represent our wishes, live in a cloud.
