Valentine's Day Message

Original post made by Simply Sterling, San Ramon, on Feb 5, 2013

Roses are red
Violets are blue
You are my sweetheart
Through and through.

Time for romance
How to keep it alive?
Be a great lover and
Our marriage will survive?

Don’t forget February 14
It’s coming real soon
The importance of this holiday
Is to make your lover swoon.

Give him or her a gift
That is thoughtful and sincere
Then give some hugs and kisses
To show you really care.

Enjoy this special moment
It’s why we have holidays
To show you can be creative
Love comes in many ways.

Buy some candy or some flowers
Buy some lingerie that’s daring
Buy some beautiful jewelry
To go with what she’s wearing.

Buy a card or make your own
Find sentiments that are true
This is the time to be romantic
So let out the lover in you.

Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day
May our world be full of LOVE!

On May 10th my husband David and I will celebrate 39 years of marriage. He was never married while I was a divorcee with three children, quite a commitment on his part. He's a good guy who has survived raising kids, helping with grandkids, caring for pets and fixing up properties among other things. We have survived and thrived.

Happy Valentine's Day!
