Let's see; going down hill, loses control, head injury due to crash into lamp post, grandmother responds; all at night.

No mention of helmut; or time of time, losing more visibility, and doing what the others are doing but at night.

Wonderful combinations of facts. Who put the skateboard in his hands? Grandmother?
Where's the mom or dad for that matter?

Whose in charge? Seem like the very bright kid with no helmut and plowing downhill at night.

Good that he didnt suffer more damage.

Did he learn anything from this?

Yes Grandma, by all means 'pray' for this juvenile, who may be unlikely to achieve his majority without an ample dose of divine intervention.

You're being a bit tough on the grandmother, Cardinal. From the article it just sounds as though she is graciously thanking other people for their help and best wishes, which some like to call 'prayers'.

And yes, let us hope the boy wears a helmet in the future.
