I suppose the budgetary debacle in Sacramento will have the fallout in the form of taxing the homeowners with a vengeance. Now that quite a few businesses have been successfully ruined it is the turn of homeowner to be deprived of the roof over his head so that
he may join the homeless throngs the government will entertain with circuses and occasional bread.
None of this will lead to any academic improvements -- it will all be a change for the worse.
