Museum acquires 'Miracle on the Hudson' quilt

A quilt artist from Missouri donated her creation, "Miracle on the Hudson," to Danville and the Museum of the San Ramon Valley last week. It fits in perfectly with the current exhibit, "Quilts: Tradition with a Twist."

I hope the maker of this quilt got permission from the cartoonist to use his or her work, since I am sure his cartoon must be copywrited.

Oh my. When I saw the original cartoon - no question about it. This quilt is a blatant copy of a protected work. I do sincerely hope she contacted the original artist. You can see the original cartoon here.
