Who is Duane Steele?

Original post made by Ralph N. Shirlet, another community, on Jan 23, 2010

Dear Dolores,

Let us start a search to discover who is Duane Steele and why he might be important to Alamo and its surrounding region. He is from Discovery Bay and is a member of the Contra Costa County Planning Commission.

Who are you, Mr. Steele?

Dear Dolores,

Although no comment reached the EXPRESS Forum, regional e-exchanges have been sharing much about all members of the CCC Planning Commission and their recent history of agendas. Like the CCC-MAC Alamo, little planning is referred to the CCC Planning Commission from CCC Departments. The reason clarified is that departments are protecting staff engineering and planning jobs. Further, Public Works and Community Development claim that they have no legal responsibility to operate publicly and only have to provide documentation when it is requested.

Likely Ms. Sharon Anderson, County Counsel, will need to clarify what public notice is required. Shouldn’t you ask?
