Benefit for Marin Baseball Player At Norms Sat.

Original post made by Danville Mom, Danville, on Apr 16, 2010

Please keep this in mind Sat when heading out to lunch or dinner. On Saturday, April 17th all day, you can dine at Rocco's Pizzeria, McCovey's Restaurant, Ed's Mudville Grill, or Norm's Grille (in Danville) and a portion of the day's earnings will be generously donated to the Gunnar Sandberg Fund. Gunnar, a baseball player at Marin Catholic, was tragically struck in the head by a batted ball while pitching against De La Salle High School on March 11. He is in critical condition and this is a way to support the family in this time of financial hardship. Just mention "4/17 for #17" (Gunnar's jersey number) or Gunnar Sandberg when ordering take out or dine in. This event is sponsored by these restaurants and the DLS Baseball program.
