Community contributions to SRVHS Swim Center
Original post made by [removed], Alamo, on May 23, 2011
Alamo region neighborhoods, reaching to Diablo Road in Danville, are considering contributions to the new swim center at SRVHS. In the previous efforts to fund a new swim center at SRVHS, an R-7A (Alamo parcel tax) grant was planned to support construction in a similar manner to R-7A support of MVHS pool. The $3.5 million project will likely require public contributions including such parcel tax grants to insure its approval and completion.
SRVUSD board members are to discuss the new SRVHS pool including Danville government’s commitment of $500,000 to the project. It would be timely for regional neighbors to provide SRVUSD board their interests in committing to community contribution to this swim center project.
