Spellcheck "Towne" foolishly

Original post made by Halamo, another community, on Mar 11, 2008

Dear neighbors,

Can it be the single matter that TOWNE is misspelled in the Town of Danville and the proposed Town of Alamo that has so many at odds with those who wish to lead? A TOWN cannot have a towne fool to cry out for neighbors or create consensus among representatives and the people.

It takes a TOWNE to be joined together in purpose and function, defined as a voice for all. A towne fool can only speak of issues that voices will not utter if only there is a TOWNE.

Spellcheck please and I will take a TOWNE to go,

Dear neighbors,

Our pal, Hal, kicks off the season leading to New Year's Day on April 1, 2008. We have Paint Satrick's day when we gather with green paint cans at Round Table Pizza in the Diablo Vista (Alamo) region to plan, but never execute, painting it GREEN. We have the Ulster Beanie Day when we don foolish hats to celebrate a BUNNY that lays chicken eggs fully decorated.

Joyous wishes at this new year's celebration that recognizes Alamo's ability to celebrate foolishly,

Thanks, Hal,

Dear neighbors,

It is a special time of year for Alamo.

From Lunar New Years to our foolish New Years on April 1st, Alamode'ans have gathered to cleanse themselves of the over-importance we put on our lack of community the rest of the year. This year, it is especially important to laugh amongst ourselves as we Paint Satrick's and don our Ulster Beanies.

How very foolish it all seems to incorporate humor in our lives, or some version thereof.
