Dear Editor,

Embarcadero Media Corporation East Bay has illustrated sponsorship of the status quo in Contra Costa County, so how might any potential audit team or individual expect this event to be honest, fair and balanced in its presentation?

Do you have an answer?

Just because someone doesn’t agree with your quirky views doesn’t mean they sponsoring anything or anyone. I’m not sure where you got the crazy idea that you get to define the two. Because from reading your posts over the last few years, you are not what I or most people would consider “fair and balanced”.

You have a right to your opinion but don’t forget; so does everyone else.

Dear Editor,

News service sampling in district 2 provides the expectations voters have for any public presentation and debate by candidates for supervisor:

#1 - Independent moderator(s) not connected to any local media or political affiliation.

#2 - Agendas and questions established from public polling of critical district issues without party or campaign interpretation.

#3 - An audit panel to monitor party and campaign efforts leading to and during any presentation and debate including monitoring any prejudice used without relationship to the job of supervisor.

#4 - Complete publication of the actual presentation and debate commentary without editorial content available from independent voter organizations.

I would expect that no matter what the forum provided for presentation/debate between candidates for Supervisor-if the candidate that shines in not your candidate, you will be crying foul. Especially since you have chastised them a few times already for not siding with your point of view.

For the record it is typical and expected to have a moderator with institutional or journalistic background.

As far as the value of such a forum and debate….C’mon Hal, we have been reading your posts for years. Your mind is already made up!
To that end, you might simply want to “Thank” the Danville Express for sponsoring a forum, instead of insisting on your rules and expectations.

Dear Gina and Informed Resident sponsorship,

Clearly, the specification for a valid debate format developed by focus polling using a qualified sample of district 2 voters is to be disqualified as you ignore such views and simply continue cheap attack brutality. I will join my neighbors throughout district 2 in seeking respectable campaigns based on the qualifications for the job of supervisor. I personally would like to see a fair opportunity for all candidates to provide their message to the voters and to be judged on those capabilities and qualifications to the specifications of the job of supervisor.

We don't need the cheap theatre of the GOP debates brought to our local level among the very savvy senior professionals that are district 2 voters by a political consortium of democratic clubs' leadership, regional democratic activists, and EMCEB.

Focus polling? Really? Sorry, but real polls are conducted by professionals and done above the board.
Not sure how you individual qualify capabilities and qualifications for the job of county supervisor. From what you have posted in the past, your expectations are quite different from what the job actually entails. What is it exactly do you think qualifies someone to meet your specific expectations I wonder?

Don't miss out on the discussion!
