A visit from the hugging saint

Original post made on Jun 12, 2013

The San Ramon Valley is hardly a Mecca or Jerusalem, but thousands of people make a pilgrimage here to see and be touched by a woman who's been called one of the 12 most influential contemporary religious leaders. Mata Amritanandamayi -- known as Amma or the hugging saint -- is in her ashram, the M.A. Center, in the hills just west of San Ramon.

Wake up you naive your life that messed up that you believe in a saint walking on earth. Hell, there aren't even saints walking or flying in that place some of you call heaven.

Well if you waste your time going to San Ramon to see and hear the saint tell you how things are, bring your wallet. Of course she will ask you to donate to her saint life style.

One more time....wake up people..

There you go again, Julia, with your negative comments. I think you need a hug from Amma. How do you know there are no saints? How do you know there is no heaven?
Let people believe what they want. If religion or spiritual believes makes someone a better person or makes them happy, then that is good. We need good people in our world.
Regarding money: The big word is DONATION...which is voluntary giving. It is not required. So you can belong to any church and not give a dime or a penny.
I hope life will be positive for you someday. God bless you whether you believe in him/her or not.

Dear Saint Julia Pardini,

I pray to You every night before I go to sleep. I follow and worship You. You are my God and Savior. Alamo has a saint and her name is Julia, Julia Pardini. Read the following prayer out loud three times:

"Julia Pardini who art in Alamo
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day, our daily Danville Express
And forgive us as we forgive others
And lead us not into hubris
But deliver us from evil

Deliver us, Julia Pardini, from every evil

For the Kingdom
And the Power
All glory and honor is Julia's
Now and forever

Saint Julia Pardini be Praised!

Please, Saint Julia, open your arms and embrace your followers with the loving faith that we hold for you in our hearts. The power of the divinity and sanctity of Julia Pardini will bring salvation to all those faithful believers of Alamo.

Julia, you appear a tad stressed. You should read, "Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers." A good read.
