Seems to me this is simply part of the job description, since EMT work is basically what constitutes 95% of their actions in the current real world. What strikes me though is the appropo "GOLD" award, since we pay him more than 99% of what all Americans earn. Not hating the fire department, so all of you off duty guys and wives on the gravy train need not respond, but the day is coming where there will be objective financial reform to your salaries and pensions so you are more in step with the current reality. We simply cannot afford to pay your retirement benefits that we all do not even have close to receiving, and we will make sure to inform the public that board members making these decisions on your retirement comp have been totally corrupt in the past. Spare me the drama, this is economics..I value your service, but I can no longer afford to make you rich...
