Tri-Valley mayors team up to bring back federal money

Four Tri-Valley mayors are joining forces to gain federal funding for local projects during the United States Conference of Mayors Jan. 18-20. Along with Pleasanton Mayor Jennifer Hosterman, Dublin Mayor Tim Sbranti and Livermore Mayor John Marchand, Mayor Candace Andersen will advocate for transportation and technology funding.

iGate is another foolish waste of money dreamed up by our junior politicians. Fix the freeways, yes. Forget about the foo-foo. Federal money is not "free" money. It's a credit card and YOU, your kids, and your grandkids will pay it back with interest. Tell your elected officials to spend OUR wisely for a change!

The headline should read that the mayors conspire to spend the defenseless grand and great children's money. When will we learn that we are in deep doodoo?
