Just another example of Secular Progressive lunacy! I mean what's next? They've eliminated Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben, and now they are going after a man who died in 1852! They seemingly want to rewrite our history. Nonsense! People have evolved over the past century and a half. They do not do the things that may have been seen as acceptable back then. But both the good and the bad in our history should be preserved, not eliminated. Just the mere cost of changing all the signage on Kirker Pass Road should be reason enough to leave it alone.

Our County faced a myriad of problems today. To think that the Board of Supervisors would devote any time whatsoever to something so inconsequential to the citizenry as this, should give us all pause. Most of the members of the BOS have been in their jobs for far too long. The recent recall of the members of the San Francisco School Board (for not doing the jobs for which they were elected) should be noted by the citizens of Contra Costa County. Perhaps it is time for us all to re-evaluate the people to which we have entrusted the management of our county. If they are not held to account, they will continue to promulgate nonsense like this.
