Main county jail opens new module for inmates with mental health concerns

Contra Costa County has opened a new module at the Martinez Detention Facility for inmates with mental illness. The county spent 18 months remodeling a jail module into a specialized area for 24 inmates with mental health issues.

Think is great news! Needed for so long. The facility sounds like it has all the bells and whistles.
I just hope that the inmates/patients get in instead of first being shot and killed or tortured by police. ????

Tortured by police? Apparently Miss Anne Cavazos is anti-law enforcement based on her absurd statement. Which of course makes me wonder who she would call if her home was burglarized, automobile stolen, or God forbid, assaulted by a suspect with mental health issues.

What say you, Anne Cavazos? Who ya gonna call?
