Petition hopes to stop development of Faria Preserve

A petition drive to stop the Faria Preserve, a 440-acre site east of Bollinger Canyon Road and north of Crow Canyon Road in San Ramon, has collected more than 100 signatures. The petition claims that "high-density and very high density neighborhoods planned for the area "lack sufficient space for living and parking."

Sad to say the project was a done deal as far as the SR Council is concerned before the public ever heard of it. Your group needs to raise money now to hire experts and an attorney to document the flaws in the EIR, then sue the City after they approve it for failure to comply with CEQA. If they need a rezoning, you could do a referendum on it immediately after it is approved. Also, why is this land a "Preserve" and now it can be built out? You better check into that right away.
