Classic and contemporary cars will once again take over downtown Danville, at the second and final Hot Summer Nights car show on Thursday.

The shows feature cars on display, music and food, all along Danville streets. The first installment of the two-part, 23rd annual car show took place on July 13.

Entertainment will take place from 5-8:30 p.m., featured on three main stages: Diablo Stage at the corner of Diablo Road and Hartz Avenue, Church Stage at the corner of Church and Hartz avenues and the Linda Mesa Stage at the corner of Linda Mesa and Hartz avenues.

On Thursday, the funk/soul/pop/Latin/R&B-inspired Project 4 Band will play at the Diablo Stage, Elvis tribute artist Lloyd Aron Douglas will play at the Church Stage and DJ Dave Schnittker will be featured on the Linda Mesa Stage.

The shows will result in the following street closures between 2-10 p.m.:

*Hartz Avenue between Railroad Avenue and Hartz Way.

*Linda Mesa Avenue between Railroad Avenue and Rose Avenue.

*Diablo Road between Hartz Avenue and Rose Avenue.

*Diablo Road at Front Street, westbound direction.

*Only local traffic access between Front Street and Rose Avenue on Diablo Road and Front Street north to Linda Mesa Avenue.

*Prospect Avenue between the Clock Tower Municipal parking lot entrance and Front Street.

*Church Street 50 feet west and east of Hartz Avenue.
